“French ⨁ Sciences” is a new program for short study stays in sciences with FLE (French as a foreign language) courses included. Institut français de Norvège is offering three scholarships to students that want to participate in this program.
French and sciences
This program is designed for English-speaking students enrolled in science and technology universities, and who can be complete beginners in French. The courses offered as part of “French⨁Sciences” are an opportunity for the participants to broaden their knowledge on scientific issues as well as to build skills in these future areas. Some of these courses give you up to 6 ECTS.
Three interesting short programs
These short stays of 3 to 4 weeks revolve around programs to tackle development, marine technology or transport and energy and internationally recognized companies in the economic area of the FLE Partner Centers (all referenced "FLE Quality Label"):
- "About sustainable development" for Montpellier and Accent Français; (please find the infomation about the program at the end of the page)
2nd session : 1st - 19 June 2020 (registration deadline: 5 may 2020)
3rd session : 5 - 23 October 2020 (registration deadline: 11 September 2020)
2nd session : 29 June - 17 July 2020 (registration deadline: 12 June 2020)
1 annual session : 8 - 26 June 2020 (registration deadline: 24 April 2020)

Applications and scholarships
There are two steps to apply to this program and the scholarship. They have to be completed in the following order:
- Step 1: Register online on the website of the partner FLE centers, they can answer students’ questions directly (links above).
- Step 2: Institut français de Norvège is offering three scholarships of 10 000 NOK to students who study in Norway. This amount will cover about half of the registration fee and housing. To apply for the scholarship, please fill out this form.
